PLOT
Gil Cameron was a famous Sprint Car racing driver in Australia in the 1980s, famous for his stunts and showing off in the face of death during every race and for his tendency to often end the races in hospital. His son Jimmy never shared his father’s desire to take up the sport as is tradition in the families of drivers. He settled in Berlin some time ago where he works as a musician and a filmmaker. Thirty years after his father left the racing world, Jimmy decides to go with Gil to rediscover all the glories of old of Australian Sprint Car racing and to find out how his life might have been if he’d followed his father’s wishes. Along the way, they have to deal with all the pain and the sacrifices that Gil’s passion for racing caused within his family in the past.
