The Touring Band returns to Rome’s cinemas: new upcoming dates
The distribution of The Touring Band continues. The documentary directed by Daniele Cini and produced by Dinamo Film tells the extraordinary story of Salento musician Cesare Dell’Anna. It is a human and artistic journey that explores the Maestro’s rebellious and visionary nature, revealing how he transformed a family tradition into a unique musical language, unbound by borders or compromises.
After screenings in Rome, Milan, Bari, Turin, Lecce, and Bologna, the documentary returns to cinemas in the capital, where new showings have been added in response to audience demand.
The docufilm—produced with the support of the Apulia Film Fund of the Apulia Film Commission Foundation and the Apulia Region, and of the Ministry of Culture—has already collected international accolades: after its world premiere at FIPADOC and its participation in the Moscow International Film Festival and Bif&st 2025, The Touring Band won both the Audience Award and a Special Jury Mention at the 25th Flahertiana Festival in Perm, Russia.
