Dinamo Film at the European Film Festival in Lecce and at the Festival OFF
Dinamo Film will be participating in the 25th edition of the European Film Festival in Lecce, scheduled from November 9 to 16, 2024. Mare Contro, by Paola Verardi, selected for the Puglia Show section, narrates a real story: the story of Artur, who left Durres in 1997 to find his mother Luisa in Italy. The short film leads to the end of the shoot along the route of this journey called “Mare contro” – a project supported by Apulia Film Fund and co-produced with Skandal Production. The screening will be held Nov. 14 at the Multisala Massimo in Lecce at 6 p.m. and will have the director and part of the cast in attendance.
The film Giro di Banda directed by Daniele Cini and dedicated to Salento’s multi-faceted artist Cesare dell’Anna, will be the focus of a special event that will open the Festival OFF, the series of free events that enriches the festival’s official program. On Saturday, November 9, an exclusive short excerpt of the documentary, still a work in progress, is scheduled to be screened in Piazza Sant’Oronzo: this will be followed by a concert of the music project GiroDiBanda by maestro Cesare Dell’Anna for an experience that combines cinema and live music in a tribute to Apulian bands.
Participation in the Lecce European Film Festival, recognized by the Ministry of Culture as an “event of national interest,” confirms Dinamo Film’s vocation to support projects that tell authentic and relevant stories, enhancing the cultural and human heritage of the area.
