PLOT
The narrative takes place during a rainy summer night. In the waiting room of a railway station in Sicily, there are two people. One is ‘the man with the flower in his mouth’, who at the beginning we see confronting and threatening a mysterious woman waiting for him outside the station. The other is ‘the peaceful adventurer’, who has missed his train because of the gifts he has given to the women in his family. That is how he meets the man with the flower in his mouth, who comes to his rescue and immediately establishes a relationship of great trust and complicity with him. The two tell each other about their lives, but while the peaceful adventurer talks about his frustrations at home, the other seems to want to steer everything towards a single topic: death.
