COOKIE POLICY
Cookies are small pieces of text that sites visited by the user send to the browser where they are stored in order to be sent back to the same sites during the browsing process or on the next visit by the same user. While browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies on their computer that are sent by various sites or web servers (so-called “third party” cookies), on which some elements (such as pictures, maps, sounds, or specific links to pages of other websites) present on the site that the user is visiting may be stored. In this way, for example, cookies allow for and/or facilitate access to certain internet pages in order to improve the user’s browsing experience (i.e. they allow for the storage of data regarding visited pages and other specific information, such as frequently consulted pages, connection errors, etc.), or they allow for profiling activities. Therefore, for an easier and complete use of a website, it is advisable for the user to set up their browser so that it accepts the reception of any such cookies.
While browsing the pages of the Website, Dinamo Film may install some so-called “technical” cookies on the browser used by the Users, by means of which browsing preferences can be saved and the User’s browsing experience can be optimised. These cookies are essential in order to browse the site using all of its features, such as keeping your session logged in and accessing restricted areas. They are necessary because without them it would not be possible to provide the services requested. These cookies do not collect information to be used for commercial purposes. Cookies can be removed through the appropriate features of your browser, although this may significantly affect your user experience.
The Site also uses Google Analytics, a service of Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google uses cookies. The information obtained through cookies about Users’ habits when using the Site (including their IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set out by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information applicable to EU member countries and has certified its adherence to Privacy Shield principles. Google uses this information in order to analyse Users’ use of the Site and to provide the Data Controller with reports on visits to the Site and for other reporting relating to the use of the Site. Users may refuse the installation of these cookies by selecting the corresponding settings among the specific browser options. By using the Site, Users agree to the processing of the data collected by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.
Google Analytics can be considered as a third party so called “analytical” cookie (like another cookie used by Dinamo Film, called Hotjar); such cookies can be considered in the same way as technical cookies because: i) for them tools have been adopted in order to reduce their identifying power (for example, through the masking of significant parts of the IP); ii) the third parties who own them have undertaken not to match the information contained in these cookies with other information they already possess. The Site may also employ so-called ‘profiling’ cookies, aimed at creating User profiles and used for the purpose of sending advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the User while browsing the internet.
Profiling cookies on the site may be Facebook Pixel or Tik Tok Pixel for Custom Audience and are third party cookies, i.e. cookies from a party other than Dinamo Film. Dinamo Film is not able to exercise any specific control over these parties and their cookies. In order to obtain information on any such cookies and their features, how they work and give their specific consent, Users can use the links available on the websites of the platforms concerned. In order to disable profiling or third-party cookies, Users may use the settings of their browser (see the related instructions below) or the indications provided by the respective third party. In addition to the options provided above, Users can select, authorise, block and delete (fully, partially or individually) the various cookies of the Site through the specific functions of their browser; however, in the event that all or some of the cookies are disabled or deleted, it is possible that the Site may not be accessible or that some services or certain functions of the Site may not be available or may not function properly and/or the user may be forced to modify or manually enter certain information or preferences each time they visit the Site. The amendment or confirmation of expressed preferences regarding the use of cookies on the Site through the options provided above may be carried out at any time by Users by accessing this page through the appropriate link on each page of the Site, or by changing the settings of their internet browser.
On certain pages of our site, we may include so-called social media plug-ins, such as, for Facebook and Twitter. In particular, the Facebook Insight function (provided by Facebook Ireland Limited), which is designed to obtain anonymous statistical data on the profile of visitors to our fanpage created on Facebook and on the content most frequently visited by these users (in order to provide increasingly relevant and popular content and to develop features that may be of greater interest to visitors to our fanpage). This statistical data is collected thanks to cookies installed by Facebook on the device used by the data subject when accessing our fanpage and remains active for two years if not uninstalled. They make it possible to use a unique user code that can be associated with the connection data of users accessing our fanpage, thereby creating statistics on accessing and viewing our fanpage, which are communicated to us anonymously on the basis of the settings established when the fanpage was created, in order to monitor specifically certain information on the viewing of our fanpage that we consider to be of particular interest. You can find more information on the Facebook Insight feature using the following link: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum. In this regard, we would like to underline that your data may be legitimately processed by Facebook Ireland Limited, which acts – together with Dinamo Film Produzioni, which created and manages its own fanpage on Facebook – as the Data Controller of the statistical data collected through this fanpage.
