“Cacciaguida” tells the true story of Vincenzo Casillo, nicknamed by his childhood friends. Grown up in a large family in the heart of Puglia, he spent his childhood playing in the wheat fields and working alongside his father Don Ciccio in an old mill. Through his experiences, we witness the transformation of a young Apulian into an influential entrepreneur who created an empire in the wheat semolina industry. His history envolves Italian history from the 50s to the present day and celebrates human values, knowledge of the raw material and the entrepreneurial vision that has made him an extraordinary man.
